This easy homemade frozen yogurt recipe combines frozen strawberries, banana, and Greek yogurt for a creamy, fruity dessert. Naturally sweetened with honey, it can be flavored with vanilla or orange extract and customized with your favorite fruits. No ice cream maker is required, making it a quick, healthy, and refreshing dessert option for summer or year-round.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced frozen strawberries (or other frozen fruit of your choice)
  • 2 cups sliced frozen banana
  • 1 cup whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 2 tsp orange extract (or vanilla extract, if preferred)
  • 4–6 tbsp honey (adjust to taste, Greek honey recommended)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (optional but recommended)
  • 1 tbsp corn syrup (optional, for creaminess)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a food processor or high-powered blender, combine the frozen strawberries, frozen banana, Greek yogurt, extract, honey, sugar, and corn syrup.
  2. Blend: Process until the mixture is smooth and creamy, resembling a thick smoothie. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
  3. Freeze: Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container. Smooth the top, then press a piece of parchment directly onto the surface to prevent ice crystals. Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  4. Serve: Let the frozen yogurt sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly. Scoop using long, shallow pulls for smoother servings.
