Ingredients:

  • 1 (1lb) box medium pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 (10oz) cans tomato soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Garlic, salt, and pepper to taste

How To Make Hamburger Casserole:

  1. Prepare the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  2. Preheat and Grease: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9×13 baking dish to prevent sticking.
  3. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper (or any seasoning of your choice) for added flavor.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Once the beef is cooked through, add the cooked pasta, tomato soup, and 1/2 cup of water to the skillet. Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese until well combined. Allow the mixture to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Assemble the Casserole: Transfer the beef and pasta mixture to the greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then, uncover and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. For an extra golden finish, broil the casserole for the last 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Once baked to perfection, remove the casserole from the oven and serve immediately. Any leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.

This Easy Hamburger Casserole is a simple yet satisfying dish that’s sure to please the whole family. With its creamy tomato sauce, tender pasta, and cheesy topping, it’s a comfort food classic that never disappoints.
