Crescent and Chicken Roll-Ups

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 roll crescent rolls
  • 1 1/2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded

How To Make Crescent and Chicken Roll-Ups:

Preheat and Prepare:

    • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Line a baking tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

    Shred the Chicken:

      • In a large bowl, shred the cooked chicken breasts using two forks.

      Prepare the Sauce:

        • In another bowl, combine the condensed cream of chicken soup with 1/2 cup of chicken broth. Stir well to combine.

        Mix Chicken and Sauce:

          • Add the shredded chicken to the soup mixture.
          • Mix in half of the shredded cheese until well combined.

          Assemble the Roll-Ups:

            • Open the crescent roll can and lay out the crescent rolls with the wide end facing towards you.
            • Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture on the edge of each crescent roll and begin rolling towards the point.
            • Gently pinch the dough to seal it together at the point.

            Bake:

              • Place the crescent rolls on the prepared baking tray and transfer to the preheated oven.
              • Bake for 25 minutes until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.

              Add Cheese Topping:

                • Remove the tray from the oven and sprinkle the tops of the rolls with the remaining shredded cheese.
                • Return the tray to the oven and bake for an additional few minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
