  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • 1 lemon, zested and cut into wedges
  • 2 lb raw extra jumbo shrimp (16–20), peeled and deveined
  • Chopped fresh dill (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade:
    In a large bowl, combine olive oil, dill weed, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add baking soda if using, and stir in the lemon zest, reserving the wedges for serving. Mix until well combined.
  2. Coat the shrimp:
    Pat shrimp dry with a paper towel. Add them to the marinade, tossing to coat each shrimp evenly.
  3. Air fry the shrimp:
    Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the basket, leaving a little space between them. Air fry for 5–6 minutes, until shrimp are pink, curled, and lightly browned at the edges.
  4. Serve:
    Transfer shrimp to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped fresh dill and serve with lemon wedges.
